Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 22, 2026

Penny Team ("we," "us") operates pennyteam.com. This page explains what information the site collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. The short version: this is a content site — we don't ask you to create accounts, and we collect as little as possible.

Information you give us

If you email us at hello@pennyteam.com, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply and to act on what you sent (for example, publishing a correction). We don't add you to mailing lists or share your address with anyone.

Information collected automatically

Like nearly all websites, our hosting infrastructure may automatically log basic technical data when you visit: your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, referring URLs, and timestamps. These server logs are used for security, debugging, and keeping the site running, and are not used to personally identify you.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Penny Team's own pages do not require cookies to function. However, third-party services described below (analytics and advertising, if and when active) may set cookies to do their jobs. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings; the site will work fine without them.

Analytics

We may use a web analytics service (such as Google Analytics) to understand aggregate site usage — which articles are read, roughly where visitors come from, and what devices they use. Analytics data is aggregated and does not tell us who you are. If Google Analytics is active, Google provides an opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Advertising

We may display advertising served by third parties, including Google AdSense. Third-party ad vendors, including Google, use cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. This is what makes ads "follow" you around the internet.

You have real choices here:

Opting out doesn't remove ads; it makes them non-personalized.

Third-party links

Our articles link to outside sites — government sources, retailers, research organizations — as evidence for claims we make. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we don't control. Government links (.gov) are provided for factual reference and imply no endorsement in either direction.

Children's privacy

Penny Team is written for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, California or the EU/UK), you may have legal rights to access, correct, or delete personal information a site holds about you. Since we hold essentially nothing beyond emails you've sent us, exercising these rights is usually as simple as asking: hello@pennyteam.com with "Privacy" in the subject line. We'll respond to any verifiable request within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change — for example, when advertising or analytics services are activated or switched — we'll update this page and its "last updated" date. Material changes will be noted plainly at the top of this page.
